NCTA Foundation

In 1994 the NCTA Executive Committee approved the establishment of a non-profit educational and training foundation to be known as the North Carolina Trucking Association Foundation. At the request of then-NCTA Chairman of the Board David W. Royster, III of Royster Transport, Palmer E. Huffstetler of Carolina Freight Corporation, L. Duane Long of Long Transportation Services (now Longistics), and John Youngblood of Youngblood Truck Lines were asked to serve as incorporators of the Foundation and as the initial Board of Directors. Duane Long of Longistics now leads the Foundation.

The NCTA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to promoting highway safety as it relates to the trucking industry. Among its activities is providing the financial support needed to operate the North Carolina Road Team.

Tax-deductible contributions to the NCTA Foundation are always needed and very much appreciated. Donations can be either from an individual or a business. Contributions can be made payable and mailed to:
