Meredith Priestley joined Cargo Transporters, Inc. in 2004, an asset based, transportation operation offering truckload, dry van service throughout the 48 continental United States.  It operates a fleet of approximately 500 tractors and 1750 trailers, utilizing some of the most advanced technology.  Meredith is responsible for all legal affairs of the company, including litigation management, contract negotiation, supervision of workers compensation claims, employment law, regulatory affairs and corporate risk management.  Meredith is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) and her local Catawba County Bar Association.  Cargo Transporters, Inc. is an active member of American Trucking Associations (ATA), Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA) and South Carolina Trucking Association (SCTA).

Mr. Bio has more than 45 years’ experience in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle industry, serving in a variety of positions including engineering, service, marketing, and sales.  retiring from Volvo Trucks in 2016 he was the director of sales development – specialty vehicles and alternative fuels, where he led Volvo’s sales force education, managed the alternative fuel and specialty vehicle portfolio, and advised motor carriers considering alternative fuel vehicles and vocational trucks.
